Currituck Engagement Session | Kaylee and Allen

Kaylee and Allen are the perfect match. She is a sweet down home country girl next door with a city girl flair. He’s the funniest, kindest teddybear who loves him some Kallee Burns. They knew by the second date that they were destined for this day.

We started their engagement session at their cute little country house, in Moyock and wound up at some really cool locations as well as where Allen popped the question, on a fourwheeler at sunset..These two are saying I Do at the beautiful Elam Church and reception at Burling Plantation in Charles City VA on December 28th, and I can not wait to capture their day of celebration.

Give me all the country front porches and swings

When I find the one my heart loves
One of Kaylee’s magnolia trees has pink blooms like her bible cover.
If this house could talk. The fire places stood in remembrance of days gone by.
The laugher is probably the result of me stepping in a LARGE gofer hole and face planting in the ashes. I am not always graceful getting the shot. #gottadowhatIgottado
This engagement ring is drop dead gorgeous!
She is an avid hunter and four wheeling country girl, who also holds multiple degrees from Texas A&M and Regent University in Counceling and Clinical Pshychology and she owns her own business in Currituck County. Peaceful Waters Counceling and Wellness Center.
This girl is the real deal!
Allen is the ower of Bayside Landscaping and is a realestate agent with Rose and Womble.

I could only DREAM of building a home right in this very location. It is what dreams are made of for me.
She said, I feel like a princess in this dress…I said well twirl like one.
Country Roads, Tulle Skirts and Old Silos are three of my favorite things.
Allen did not need to say a word, he just smiled and watched his princess twirl then wrapped her in his arms. Her prince.
Getting up in a tree in a tulle dress is hard…but getting down is harder LOL.
We got about 2 seconds for this shot before the next one happened and then two more seconds for the last two..then the pups were done. 🙂
puppy play and chaos 🙂 Before we managed to get 1 more. <3
This is where Allen proposed marriage to Kaylee at sunset on the fourwheeler so we had to go back to where she said YES.
The chimneys were just as beautiful at night
Under the moon and stars with you in my arms is where I find peace, it’s where I find home.

Kaylee and Allen, I can not wait to be apart of your wedding day, to capture all of your day, your love and your family. Thank you for allowing me the privilidge of being your photographer.
